Location. Most of our visitors love our handy location.

We're ideally located at the top of Parnell hill opposite the Cathedral and within strolling distance of over 70 bars, cafes and restaurants.

Most people commented that this was definitely one of the highlights of staying here. You don't need a car as everything you need is within walking distance

Plus, as many people commented on, the Link Bus stops literally right in front of the Motel and can take you to Newmarket, Ponsonby, Viaduct Harbour or the CBD (basically wherever you need to go).

There is also a huge parking lot in the middle of Parnell if you need one.

There were also a few comments about the *Parnell famous* Pandoro bakery, which we highly recommend. They make REAL coffee there and absolutely delicious food (but be warned: they are a little *pricey*).

Oh, and one final recommendation: Check out the Chocolate Boutique! (We guarantee you'll feel guilty afterwards, but the guilt is worth it!)

Service. Our service has been described by most of our visitors in their reviews as "friendly, helpful and flexible".

Our rooms are described as "very comfortable", especially the bathrooms

We provide cooking facilities and a large flat screen TV in every room. And despite the fact the Lodge is situated right by the main street, most people said their stay was peaceful and quiet.

There were also a few comments about the private balcony, which a lot of people appreciate.

Oh, and we offer free wireless broadband. Lots of people appreciate this small but essential service!
